Preference will be given to projects which support people who are long-term unemployed (although any length of unemployment is permitted) or who are distant from the labour market and face multiple disadvantages and profound barriers to work.
Projects will help participants to move towards or into employment or into learning.
Grants are available up to a maximum of £20,000 per project.
What sorts of projects will be awarded a grant?
Applications are welcomed if they are new, innovative or offer something specific to a particular local area or cohort and don’t replicate what is already available in Greater Lincolnshire.
In addition we would particularly welcome projects based in remote and rural areas.
Eligibility: Initially applications will be invited from organisations and groups that employ less than 49 staff – FTE (full time equivalent), and with a turnover of under £5 million p.a.
All delivery needs to take place within Greater Lincolnshire.
Grants can deliver a wide range of community activities including but not limited to:
- First contact engagement activities
- Basic skills support
- Projects to improve confidence, motivation and social integration
- Developing local networks and groups
- Softer skills development
- Innovative approaches to attract under-represented groups. Priority groups include participants:
- Over 50 years of age

The Employment and Skills Grant are a capped programme and will therefore only be issued to eligible initiatives whilst funds are still available.
