BGU Senior Leader apprentice wins team award!

A massive congratulations to one of our Senior Leader apprentices, Helen Hardware (Head of Risk & Compliance) and her team at Aura Life for winning the SME Compliance Team of the Year at the ICA Compliance Awards 2024. The awards "celebrates the outstanding achievements, collaboration, and innovation of compliance and financial crime prevention teams." The assessment process was conducted by independent judges who are prominent figures in the compliance and financial crime prevention community. Aura Life is a funeral plan provider and the compliance team (led by Helen) focus on a 'customer-centric service' to provide excellence in adaptability, risk management, and positive change in the funeral sector.

Winning an award of this calibre means a huge amount to everyone involved in this project and area of work. Being recognised in this way, amongst a remarkable cohort of nominees was a brilliant experience.
