Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) has announced that Professor Karen Stanton will be stepping down from her role as Interim Vice Chancellor this summer.
Professor Stanton is set to take on the role of Interim President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of the Arts London (UAL) this September. Her final day at BGU will be Friday 30th August.
Moving forward, Anne Frost, Chair of the Council at BGU, will oversee the transition process and the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor. The university remains committed to its strategic goals and ensuring a seamless transition to new leadership.
Professor Stanton said: "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have served as Interim Vice-Chancellor at BGU.
"I leave with confidence in the university's future in the capable hands of its leadership team and dedicated staff."
