The winners will be announced at the BGSU awards night, which is on the 17th of May in the SU building. Entry to the event is free and there will be a bar and refreshments.
Announcing the nominations Josh Blanchard, Vice-President of BGSU, explained how the awards represented an important relationship between students and academics at BGU:
“Seeing so many students praising the hard work and skills of Tutors, supervisors, lecturers, modules, support staff and many more always fills me with joy. I have already had many members of staff express their gratitude and excitement over their nominations, and it warms my heart to see how happy staff are when they realise their work is appreciated. Regardless of the results, to even be nominated for a Student Led Teaching Award is a great achievement. I am proud of every student that takes the time to send in a nomination, and happy for every member of staff that gets nominated!”
