Solertia is Bishop Grosseteste’s student journal showcasing research by undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The Oxford Latin Dictionary defines Solertia as cleverness, skill, resourceful. Bishop Grosseteste used it in his epistemology to describe that moment when the light flashes in your mind and you instantaneously get something or have a profound insight. It is ultimately the aim of all learning.
